Why I am bitter to bivector?

In the past, I used to enjoy answering questions in a useful and helpful way. When people (e.g. Jonathan Gorard told me this upon meeting) meet me in person for the first time, they are surprised that I am a kind and friendly gentleman… because they thought I’m an angry person on the internet.

Years in the past, I actually spent countless hours answering people’s geometric algebra questions, or basic Julia language questions. I was one of the top members of the Julia community answering every type of questions and getting lots of appreciation.

That was before the Julia community and bivector community got “eternal september” syndrome due to the egotistical power trips of people trying to be popular kids, like a bunch of little children at lunch.

Then the corporations and sociopaths have to hijack those spaces and pull an Orwell on them.

Since that happened, first with Julia, then later with bivector, it quickly deteriorated into garbage.

I was a member of the bivector discord from day 1, it was basically created because I had just appeared on the GA scene… and we made that our place to talk, and I shared the moderation role with enki. Yea, enki asked adam to create the discord, but it was all happening because I had just appeared, and adam was excited about talking with me (and still is, despite some disagreements).

I had always used the same invite links that enki had, I didn’t make my own invite links to give people. So later, when enki pulled the sociopath coup on me, he used that as evidence that he single handedly is responsible for the bivector discord, because all the members used the same link to enter the discord, the link associated to enki. So he used that as a sociopathic excuse to declare himself the owner.

Yet I was the main person answering the most on there, I had definitely engaged the most people on the discord, answered the most questions, raised many different issues about GA and did so much for discussing GA and engaging all the members.

I engaged every person who entered the server, I asked every new person what their interests are, etc.

That was me, I was the main person who engaged with everyone on a daily basis, to get the discussion flowing about GA and what cool things there are.

As it all grows, just like in the Julia’s eternal september, the server starts to be filled with jealous people who are annoyed at the presence of giants such as myself in the scene, because I am such a big part of it.

I can totally understand why they hate me and want to get rid of me, it’s because I dominated the discussions with my intense depth of discourse into seemingly trivial mathematical definitions.

They just couldn’t handle that I was showing people they are wrong about this definition or that, because it raises an inconsistency here or there.

Anyway, eventually I also got really annoyed with everyone as well and there were too many people joining, it’s just too big at 1000 already. At that point, you got eternal september, and the “community” is lost and washed out by the ocean.

So when enki banned me the last time, he did from the discord, it was because I had mentioned a wikipedia article. some rando insulted me for linking a wikipedia, and I responded to the insult. Since then, enki has permanently banned me from the discord.

I have not requested or had the goal of returning to the bivector discord, because of all this I lost interest.

There was never any benefit to me in the discord. I was a moderator and I answered countless questions, but I didn’t gain anything myself from it. In fact, I was volunteering my time for random strangers on the internet who don’t repay the favor.

So why would I ever care about returning? There is nothing for me to be gained. I was the one giving away information and insight, it wasn’t to my benefit.

I’m never be able to respect enkimute or some of the others involved after all this.

I tried to explain to enki what bugs are in his program and what he is doing wrong. He didn’t take it very well, since he still has not fixed the issues leading to mathematical inconsistencies.

Enki claimed that he knew about some bug in my code at the time, but refused to explain what. In contrast, I repeatedly explained the details of how the other people are wrong with mathematical proofs.

They never proved to me what I supposedly need to fix in my program, no mathematical proofs either.

This is kind of one sided behavior, where I give away information to everyone, but they never return the favor or explain anything to me for my benefit.

So yea, I can never respect some of these people ever again, and they are so dishonest and unwilling to engage in open peer review about science.
